Our trip to Talkeetna Alaska

Such a beautiful town. We traveled up on the Alaska railway from the ship and got to stay there for a few days and got back on the train to go back down. We were fortunate to see Mount McKinley (Denali) when we camped out. I did a bit of gold panning too :)

The last picture was taken outside of the door to our tent where we camped on the river just outside of town. That was the last night there so it was great to see the mountain through the clouds finally. it was 2am and as you can see the sun didn't really go down.
