Stop and Smell the Rose
My wife and I took a short drive at the recommendation of my uncle. It was last year that we visited in the hospital as he was being treated for his cancer. He wanted to show us this place called "Stop and Smell the Rose". We never got out there last year. We made a pact to get there this year with him. 
Well, he passed away on Father's day. We missed going with him. His funeral was this past Saturday. I guess this saying is fitting. We all need to stop and smell the roses. We will miss him dearly.
The garden that we visited is in Delavan, WI. It is tended to by a retire gentleman that greets everyone who visits. He tends to over 400 rose plants. He accepts donations and loves to talk about his roses. If you get a chance please "Stop and Smell the Rose" before it is too late.
We will miss you uncle Bob.
