MISUSE OF PURPOSE(Wafrica Guest Post)

When Dr. Myles Munroe said that when the purpose of someone or something is not known, abuse is inevitable. What he meant is that it's either you are living your purpose or you are abusing it. This is the true situation of things happening. From the experience I had two months ago, I realized that many people are just misusing their talents and purpose in life. I haven't been using facebook for a long time, but I still receive notifications on my mail. But about two months ago, my account was hacked. And it made me think how a well talented young man or woman as the case may be, who of course, is obviously very good in software engineering, would decide that the best thing to do is hacking my facebook account. You will agree that this person is very good in his or her craft but the only thing wrong is that he uses it wrongly.

This is exactly the story of what is happening in the life of many people in the world today. You will agree with me that all these internet fraudsters are all quite talented, that's why they are able to do what ordinary people cannot do. That's why I do tell people that if I happen to be the President of the nation, internet fraudsters that are caught will be rehabilitated and made to put into good use those talents, thereby helping the Nation become a technological advance entity. It is obvious that many bad things that happened in the world today can be traced from the fact that people misuse their purpose. Bad things happen because people who should direct human resources in their rightful place failed to do so. Parents, teachers and the government and religious leaders have not been effective in directing human capital in their areas of calling in life. Hence the reason problems keep expanding rather than decreasing. It is the duty of the parents, teachers and most especially the government to create a platform where younger folks discover and commit themselves to their rightful area of calling in life. In some cases the parents and teachers have both excelled in that area, but It is quite unfortunate that the government failed woefully in this aspect of duty in life. This single act of misuse of purpose is what has caused bad leadership, prostitution, the use of gender favor, bribery and corruption and all other evil act in our world today.

My pain here is that even the young people of today are not ready or willing to embrace purposeful living, but it's time for us to remake ourselves, yes the economy may be at it's worst, but it doesn't justify the misues of your talent, all the negative energy in which our talents and skills are channelled into, can be invested into something positive and we will be the better of it. Let's get rid of this get rich mentality, let your talent and skill work for you and in years to come, the world will tell stories of your greatness. Remember when God thought of greatness, he created you to show for it. Stay amazing.
