Steemit is more than a social media platform, it's a teacher.

Steemit is more than a platform, it is a teacher.

Despite steemit being based as an economical style platform it also teaches us. The platform has a high demand for quality material.

Quality doesn't always mean quantity. We need to write from an unique perspective, thus being challenged to look deep into our fantasy and our personal style of expression.
Nobody likes reading reposted material that has been gathered from around the web. The people that make most are the ones that share their lives and there are others that are devoted to improve the platform.

The ones that improve the platform are pinned to learn how the system works and how it can be integrated into something that will improve it, therefore being stimulated to research back and front end integration.

Now we will look at some aspects of subconscious and conscious improvements..

Writing

image

As we mentioned we get stimulated to write so we can make some income out of it. Now most people look at this as something that must be done just to get some money out of it, but they don't know that the consistency of writing improves them in the long term, opening a door towards abstract ways of thinking and refining grammar and vocabulary skills and expression.

In the long run we see that writing starts to get more easy and we don't contemplate on what we have to write as we develop our own unique writing styles.

From nothing to something. The birthplace of ideas.

image

As we progress in writing our internal expression gets to improve, this results in an easier accumulation of great ideas and faster integration. I've noticed that once you get accustomed to the platform and see what people are doing, you start to give birth to all sorts of wonderful ideas that revolve around the mainstream of steemit. Ofcourse the ideas are revolving around the mainstream, but theyr composition is derived from our personal uniqueness.

Economics

image

Steemit leads us towards learning basic economics and we can see how the stock market works, thus, giving birth to new traders and people that make a living out of trading.
Honestly I'm a spiritual person and I found it quite easy making 100usd on poloniex.

Traveling

image

The platform allows us to explore the world? 🌍 one thing that seemed impossible is now in hands reach, sponsored by SBD or STEEM, we can now afford going places we wanted to before, without draining our salaries.
Traveling teaches us how we are free and we are here to enjoy everything that is offered to us. We find out that the world holds much secrets and adventures for us.

How to socialize

image

We are though that when communication is nice between two people it can be beneficial for us. (By upvotes)
Therefore we learn to be more nice towards people as that rewards us in the long run, but that's not all, this leaves an everlasting subconscious imprint and we easily transfer it to our everyday life too.
From my point of view this is the ultimate way to teach unconditional love.

Research

image

We research how the market is handling, how it will be in the future and manage our investment's in future stocks (not the case for everyone), therefore our analytical skulls improve.

We research what people like and want to read too, giving us social engineering skills as well.

Schedules

image

Some people learn how to manage schedules when they make postings, thus maximizing efficiency and increasing growth over time.

The most important lesson

image

Most importantly, steemit teaches us that our words matter and our voices can be heard.
It shows us that with consistancy we can achieve anything we want and still have fun.

Slowly everyone here will learn how to have peace and abundance in their life.

Great post! What you wrote is very true, from economics to social skills. I noticed from the day 1 that I want to participate more in discussions and sharing on other social sites as well. It is like I changed my default from girl in the corner observing everything to girl that is hosting a party ;)

Thanks for sharing this! I had a similar what-I-learned post few days ago: click here ;)

It is nice to see different view on the experience of steemit

XO

Nice to see you being active :) thanks for the support 😊

Same goes for you ;) Have a nice day :)

For years I've been looking for a mentor on how to learn to be self-employed as my own boss. With Steemit, I've been able to learn how to be my own mentor at the very least, teaching myself by creating my own tasks, holding myself accountable to my own deadlines, etc. I'm not self-employed full-time as of yet, but I have a feeling I'm on my way. Thanks for your wonderful post to help me acknowledge this fact!

Great post man! I couldn't agree more and I mentioned some of the things you did in my "No-Bullshit Guide For Getting Inspired To Write" post. Writing at it's core is thinking. The more we do it with consistency, the more our capacity for abstract thought and idea creation improves drastically. Writing is a beautiful thing and I feel grateful that we have this great platform which rewards us for writing. It's essentially a positive upwards spiral. Looking forward to your future posts, resteemed so this can reach more people!

Thanks friend and thank you for the feedback and support :)
Followed.
Cheers and see you on the moon soon ^^

No worries my friend. Thank you for the great post!
Likewise!

This is an interesting post. What I like most about Steemit, is that the posts are usually informative and challenge me to think and learn new things. Other social media platforms, which are based on you creating a mirror of yourself, just consolidate old ideas, leaving little space for learning. Go Steemit!

The way I see it, Steemit is an excellent example of how the free market works. Steemit opens a pathway to those who want to transition from the Matrix into an Agorist lifestyle. As you mentioned, it teaches you a good deal about economics and entrepreneurship. It boosts your creativity and encourages authenticity. Thanks for the post. Stay free my friend!

Thanks bud :D

Great post @vangelov! What I like most about Steemit is it gets us out of the habit with the mindlessness and laziness of simply reposting basic stuff on Facebook and makes us think deeply and carefully about what we put out into the world and what we can get back from it. Putting our best foot forward.
People are rewarded for being constructive and not simply arguing and putting others down which which we've seen on other social networks.

Absolutely right.
Facebook is more like a see who I am kinda media that propangates egocentric exposure.
Cheers and much love.

Great post :D

Thanks for the feedback :)

It's a whole new world for learning, and it is always changing. Find and choose any path that is interesting. Keep searching, and think of new ideas, and see how other people are. All this is here on Steemit.
Thanks that we can all express our thoughts and feelings, and read about others.

Most certainly will.. Bless you too.

Vangelov, you did an exceptional post, with well written thoughts and information. Beautiful insight and right on! You actually said everything I was thinking and I was amazed by your insight as to what Steemit is and becoming. One of the main things I learned, was that the more people over bombarded me with too many postings with little content, the more I was put off. It was an overwhelming experience for me. So now I've been very fortunate to have come across, people who write things that inspire me instead of bother me. I'm following these few exceptional Steemits and have come to really enjoy the whole process. I love your closing words: "Most importantly, steemit teaches us that our words matter and our voices can be heard. It shows us that with consistancy we can achieve anything we want and still have fun. Slowly everyone here will learn how to have peace and abundance in their life." Beautiful and wonderful words by a unique and gifted individual! Thank-you friend!...... Cabbagepatch
