Worlds Most Colorful Bazaars
There is nothing that will give more information about a country's culture like food and drinks.
This is why bazaars are the places that draw my attention the most when travelling. Bazaars will not only give you information about eating and drinking culture but they will also inform you about the country's nature, climate, tastes, and working habits. Because, food markets are the places people visit regardless of their social status. I strongly recommend that you visit the bazaars of the country that you visit, whether if you are getting cheap food or if you are going to make spectacular luxurious tables.
Australia - Melbourne - Queen Victoria Market
You can visit this world famous bazaar located in Melbourne considered vital by Australians anytime except Mondays and Wednesdays. If you like gourmet trips, you can access both local and gourmet tastes at Queen Vic. There are also cosmetics, gifts, and clothes at the bazaar.
Washington - Pike Place Market
This bazaar looks and works just like a public bazaar. Except vegetables and fruit it is most famous about it's freshest and various fishes... If you are fond of fishes and sea products like me I would recommend you to visit this bazaar, buy some fresh fish and don't worry about finding fish in Washington.
Barselona - La Boqueria
Barcelona's most colorful, world famous and worth seeing bazaar; La Boqueria. The thing that separates this bazaar from the other known bazaars is spectacular tastes. You absolutely should visit the bazaar in Barcelona that will ensure fantastically delicious trips for gourmets.
Japan - Nishiki Bazaar
Nishiki Bazaar is a fantastic kitchen bazaar that informs us about every characteristic of Japan's cuisine very nicely. Also called 'Kyoto's kitchen', in this bazaar beside sushi, dried fish and pickles , kitchen goods draw the most attention.
Morocco - Marekesh Bazaar
Once again we are in a world famous bazaar also considered a cultural heritage by Unesco. Marekesh Bazaar's best products are olive, olive oil, famous desserts and of course the indispensable thing in Western culture, spices. You will fall into the charming of the biggest bazaar of Morocco because of it being close to our culture and giving us examples of fabulous Western tastes.
USA - Dane County Village Bazaar
This is one of the most interesting bazaars in the USA because it’s a village bazaar... Everything encountered in village life is sold here. Also, having the concept of village life it’s a wonderful place to get away from the city and feel a little happiness. You can access cheese, eggs, vegetables, fruits and flowers made by farmers themselves in this bazaar which sets up in Madison city.
New York - Union Square Greenmarket
One of New York's most famous bazaars which sets up everyday except Tuesdays and Sundays. Even if this bazaar's look and concept is like a classic public bazaar I recommend you to see this place visited by plenty of people. I walked around this bazaar to learn about
New York when I first went there.
