$ Saving idea when planting in large pots or planters

Instead of filling a large pot completely with potting soil add some plastic bottles in the bottom of the pot to save on potting soil as you only need 6-8” of soil and it makes the pot lighter
For my big pots, I put in a piece of wood and covered with old window screen
