Hello everyone today I wanted to show you my favorite movie.

Los Angeles, 1984. A young man from South Central, Tre, wants to continue his higher education but his social environment will decide otherwise. Child of divorced parents and brilliant at school, Tre gets fired for three days for a fight. His mother decides to send him to his father's house in South Central. There he finds Darin and Ricky, two brothers who live in the house opposite. In this dark ghetto world, he continues to evolve positively thanks to his father's education, even though he is confronted with police racism, poverty, weapons proliferation, gang violence and drug trafficking.

In 1991, Darin sells cocaine, Ricky gets a scholarship to go to the University of Southern California, and Tre tries to change Brandi's mind about his girlfriend who refuses to have sex before marriage. One night, the three friends have an altercation with another gang.

Later, Ricky gets shot dead by the other gang. Seeking revenge, Darin and Tre go looking for them. After a while, Tre prefers to stop searching. Darin goes on and finds three members, who are then killed.

Finally, Darin was murdered two weeks later, Tre was admitted to Morehouse College and moved to Atlanta with Brandi, who joined Spelman College for black girls.
