That's very interesting - I never tried acupuncture before and I didn't even know how long it should take, but your explanation makes sense! I'm still not a big fan of needles, but I can see how this would be good for you and your body :) Thanks for sharing all the information with us :)

Yes very interesting stuff. So, the acupuncture needles will be left in for usually no longer than 30mins. And, many people shy away from it due to the needle thing. Acupuncture needles are very differently engineered to the ones they use in hospitals - and that's where most of the fear tends to come from. All in all, any discomfort you may experience from the acupuncture needle insertion, is easily overridden by the benefits afterward.

When I see people put up with intense back pain for years yet, they refuse a tiny acupuncture needle because it may cause a moment of discomfort, seems like complete madness to me. Ah well :)
