Sachertorte!!! An Austrian dessert!!

A good friend of mine living in Austria was kind enough to send me a Sachertorte to Malta by DHL. Sachertorte is a famous Austrian delicacy, a dessert which recipe is a well-kept secret, known only to confectioners at Hotel Sacher, Vienna. It was created in 1832 and is loved by chocolate lovers worldwide. I have tasted this famous cake twice in my life; once when i was young and some Austrian nationals visiting my country brought some with them and a second time was at Hotel Sacher some 6 years ago while travelling.

One simple world can describe it: DELICIOUS.

A chocolate cake which surely is to be tasted while in Vienna. Recommended also by girlfriend....who's love for chocolate is immense!!!
