When do you feel the shift during your meditation?

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Usually every day when I first wake up, I lay there with my eyes closed and repeat the words "I and Father are ONE" over and over, feeling the energy created by those syllables, expanding putting my attention on what is there, feeling the awareness expand within and through my physical body and beyond. I'm getting in touch with or better said, paying attention to - the energy of my own life. What exactly is this? I don't know, but the exploration allows perceptions, awareness and realizations that I didn't know I'd find. Don't get in a huff about any language I use, the words are describing thoughts and feelings, which are energy anyway. "The Father" although I acknowledge is using a masculine term for a non-gender energy, is the word I use to describe the source of all power more out of habit. I could easily just say and sometimes do say "the I AM and I are ONE".

Then after that, I get up and sit for meditation. During meditation I turn my attention from the outer world of appearances and focus or allow myself to observe (explore or discover) the inner world - The invisible realm.

After about 10, sometimes 15 or 20 minutes, I notice my thoughts quiet down away from my attention and I feel a shift in energy and a centeredness that wasn't as present before. Sometimes after that, as my body continues to relax more tensions away, I notice the rocking of my physical heart.

Wondering how you experience your meditation or at least  - Do you feel the energy shift? and after how many minutes?
