Warning: This article reflects only opinion about the so-called educational system

in #life8 years ago

Education is important because it makes people knowledgeable. And knowledge is power. However, entering school does not seem to be the most appropriate way for being educated and acquiring knowledge.
A lot of people go to school, enter university and then graduate with energy and optimism, thinking that finally that the job they have always been dreaming about will be within grasps. When they realize that there are not much employment opportunities, especially those related to their field of educational expertise, they try to get engaged in postgraduate studies, with hopes that they would still find the job they have studied most of their lives for. Until they finish their postgraduate degrees, a lot of people work jobs that are not related to their studies to pay for bills and survive.
After finishing their post graduate studies, many people usually face one of two things: 1- A vampire employer who preys on his employees and treats them like slaves and stool samples; or 2- Continuing working a job unrelated to their studies.
How old are you now or were you at the time? 30? 35? How much left?
Education is amazing. However, the so-called educational system literally torments a lot of people for the mentioned reasons. Wait a minute! Did I mention bullying, stress, kidnapping and other crimes our children face everyday at school? Oh yes, add those as well.
There is a bright side indeed. You find great examples of people with different talents, doing things they love, getting knowledge they desire and sell great services, which made them super rich.
Nowadays technology helps a lot of people to communicate, get knowledge, do marketing for their talents and gifts and make money through art, design, painting, dancing, singing, game developing, game testing, reviewing, editing, writing, sports etc. Discover your talent(s) and do the same. Think out of the so-called educational system box and do something of real value and talent to yourself, family and even the world.
This sweet article feels more good than thousands of hours and decades I have spend until the moment I gave my parents a fake smile during my graduation day for knowing that it would be almost impossible to find an ideal job.
Right now, I feel like I was a zombie or blind. I feel better now. I am healed. I can breath and I can live the rest of my life in peace.
