Humanity’s darkest secret?

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Human self-domestication is causing an epidemic of depression and other mental illness!

A “quick and dirty” explanation of how our self-domestication is causing us mental illness at an increasing rate as well as other issues

Human self domestication essentially uses human nature against the human!

From the beginning of the self domestication experiment until today, our human nature has been used against us in order to get us to work for the system or shall I say the farm, in order to domesticate us further as well as make profit for corporations.

Below are some examples of how your own nature could be used against you right now!

One of the reasons facebook is such a success, is due to the fact that socialisation is a major component of our nature as humans,
that is why our faces show expressions in order to aid communication and Facebook exploits that for profit.
And we all know how social media in it’s current incarcerations is having a detrimental effect on our minds. and the reason why is because these systems use our nature against us!

Emojis are also becoming popular in texts as pure text sometimes doesn’t convey the intended emotional communication intended.

Advertising and propaganda firms also use psychology that is deeply ingrained in our nature to get us to behave , believe or buy what ever they want us to, mostly unnatural things/behaviours.

In nature if I tried to convince you to drink a dark brown liquid instead of water you would not naturally gulp it down but Coca-Cola has managed to convince humanity that it’s an actual alternative and better then pure water, initially by hacking our bodies with cocaine.
At that time the drink was used by the US military to fuel its soldiers and as a result it was shipped world wide.

With the marketing that followed people began to see/believe it as a symbol of success.
Hence why it dominates around the world.

In nature there isn’t a seven day cycle this was invented by man
Naturally we would work hard one day and rest hard the next.

The weekly cycle of working hard 5 days in a row and resting for only two is taking its toll on people causing our brains and bodies to be overworked so that we have no capacity to even think about leaving or changing the system.

”If everyone is aware then they must not care”

Then there is our relationship with food.
Naturally we would not be eating we do on a daily basis .
Cereals, wheat and other staples are not our natural foods.
When you have a “densely populated area”(youvgotta love the way 21century properganda invents phrases to control thought)
or shall I say a farm, you need to supply all those who live there with food as they will be too busy doing unnatural tasks and won’t have time or space to hunt and gather their own food.

farming wheat and cereals made that possible and cheap.

The way we get our food is not natural

our relationship with food is so far removed from nature that we don’t even know what to eat any more. So diet company’s pray on the ignorance of people.
These days when we need to get food we only have to walk to the local super market to purchase it (another way our nature is being used against us to propagate self-domestication).

And more and more people are starting to get food delivered to their homes.
So on a daily basis we take just a few steps to the fridge to get food, and that is braking our relationship with food.

Naturally every physical step we take towards our survival goals, our bodies release small amounts is endorphins in order to reward us for taking a step in the right direction.
But since We don’t walk as much as we naturally should any more we end up with a deficit in our daily expected amount of endorphins.
Check out my other article on this subject for a fuller explanation.

Here comes ”retail therapy“

Driving to the mall and walking around browsing dose increases the step count but because we wear shoes and the floor is so flat we barely register the stimulus, and as a result we resort to buying something in order to gain the reward expected.

There are many other ways our nature is being used against us.

The main result is that we are not fulfilling our potential or simply our needs beyond the basic ones are not met by the way we live our lives.

As a species we need to recognise the root cause of our problems in order to invent a solution that would readdress and remedy the abuses being committed against our nature.

The first step is to emancipate our minds from those who use our own nature against us

A further detaild and more coherent explanation will soon follow so do....

@techpuffin

I would like to invite the steemit comunity world wide to start to build a roadmap towards the liberation of humanity.

Do you have any solutions?
Do you know practical ways we can achieve a more natural relationship with ourselves and the planet?
let me know in the comments :)

Here are some remedies already posted on steemit by others,
this list will grow as soon as I come across other decent steem accounts.

This is the best post on Steemit. I gave you a vote now, ya heard?

I like your spirit but don't you think we need to domesticate ourselves in order to get along?

We have done enough self-domestication, the experiment is detrimental to humanity as a whole.
If continued, it will increase the vulnerability of our species.

Amen to that! Unfortunately I can't see a 'remedy' for the world (yet?), but I am pretty optimistic that humanity is starting to wake up to the truth slowly but surely. It will just be a matter of time until they act upon it. Cryptocurrencies are just an example. I try and find as many ways to avoid all these perils as well, my partner and I are actually looking to leave our home and jobs behind this year to live in a van without any obligations to slave away in order to afford a roof over our heads!
