What can constant fatigue and lack of energy indicate?

Let's start by figuring out where your energy and strength go. You probably had plenty of both at some point, but over time they got used up so much that they’re no longer enough.

Try to remember when you first noticed a lack of energy. What was happening in your life at that time? Did it happen suddenly, or did it happen slowly? How did you feel during that period?

Imagine you have 100% energy to use. This energy is spread across different parts of your life like work, family, and hobbies. Think about how much energy each area takes. Write down the percentage it uses. Is there any energy left? Or maybe there isn’t enough energy, and it gets drained somewhere else?

One reason for always feeling tired might be unresolved losses. How does that work? Sometimes a loved one leaves your life—through death or some other way. You didn’t properly grieve or process the loss. Instead, you pushed the pain deep inside, closed that chapter, and never looked back.

So what? Well, that pain stays hidden but still exists. If you don’t touch it or think about it, you won’t feel it. That sounds okay, but there’s a catch. What keeps that pain buried? It’s not just sitting there by itself. You have to put effort into not remembering or touching the wound. Sometimes unconsciously, you work to hide the pain from yourself.

Where does the energy for this effort come from? It’s pulled from your main energy reserve. A small part of your total energy—say, a percentage—goes into holding onto these unresolved losses. Count how many you have. They could be not only people but also animals or things.

Have you said goodbye to them? Have you come to accept that they are no longer part of your life? Or do you still carry the need to resolve these past events?

Now, think from a different angle. What if you do believe you’ve gone through all your losses, but you still feel drained? Then I have a question for you: Where do you get your strength now? What part of your resources actually helps you? How do you rest? Do you rest at all?

Remember, your full energy can’t just appear out of nowhere. It needs to be renewed regularly. Sometimes, that doesn’t happen naturally. Wouldn’t it be nice if it did?

I’ll talk about health separately. It’s good to check your physical health first. Often, constant tiredness can come from hormone problems. It’s possible to investigate your entire life history—even before birth—and still not find the real cause. That can make health issues worse over time.

To sum up, you need to find out what’s behind your tiredness. Is it a physical problem or something mental? If it’s mental, look at what came before your fatigue. Focus on fixing the cause, not just the symptoms.
