Wikipedia "Alzheimer's disease (AD), also referred to simply as Alzheimer's, is a chronic neurodegenerative disease that usually starts slowly and worsens over time.It is the cause of 60% to 70% of cases of dementia. The most common early symptom is difficulty in remembering recent events (short-term memory loss)"

Just by reading the definition I feel scared, is a horrible disease, is completely a brain-related that nowadays is so common to find people that are suffering from this terrible disease and at least in our society people dont treat this kind of issues as it should. that for me is maybe the worse of all.

You cannot communicate, forget places, faces, names - not just family and friends, animals, regular stuff, minings of words, songs, your conscious self is build gathering every experience in your life, since your born, every play as a kid, your first kiss, your first fight, your pet name, your brothers and sisters names or that they even exist.

Puff, now everything's gone.

Imagine that nothing of that exists anymore, is not that you don't remember, is that nothing happened, you remember some basic facts about your life, things that you repeat more often.

This past week I've learned that my uncle remembers only things that were important for him.

Work. He talks a lot about his work life or in better words, he talks about work but sometimes is unreal he mix everything with everything else. He never uses names, talks about people or gangs, but no specific name or gender. I think he was so proud of his work awards, he always talks about his 9 awards given to him by his students.

Money like my grandfather for about a time he started going to the Atm every day sometimes twice a day to get their pension. Is unfair that at the end, after all the hard work, all the bad times that every citizen experience through our lives in Center-South America just to get enough money to live.

Stuvi - Is sad that thanks to the world that we live in today people that suffer from this disease cannot pass through it in a better way because we spend our entire life working to live, working to get money for everything even the basic needs to live. We want to pay a nice education to our kids but spend all the time working. And at the end you end up old with no energy to enjoy life, to enjoy the beauties of this world -

Close Family In one sentence "sometimes he forgets his sons face right in front of him"

On the Streets He loves to walk, a lot. He says hi to everyone and is always talking about baseball and how he knows every kid that crosses his way.

I think that there's still some part of him inside, he tries to remember to learn and be useful to everyone, he's worried about everything and everyone. Sometimes he knows that something is wrong with him, something in his head, he describes it sometimes as if his brain moves around.

But not everything is sad, sometimes still laugh about dark jokes he understands double minings, he's a huge casanova that loves to tell nice things to ladies.

He walks around making people laugh for a while he's friendly with everyone he and Any -He's Dog- are a good team to meet people. They are both nice..

We need to be patience, we need to understand how this disease

Read, Learn, Share, Resteem we all win doing this.

.................see you in space cowboy......................

My Grandma sadly has Alzheimer, too. Patience and love are the key to endure such horrible disease.
