Yes, and they use these familiar faces to lure us in and it's scary because some newer steemers would never know and maybe give away their passwords too.
You would hope people know how silly it is to give away a password. It's so easy to check if a Steemit account is legitimate by checking the history, but chat accounts can be faked. We need to be generally aware on-line.
