Stroke (CVA) occurs when a blood vessel supplying blood brain bursts or is blocked by a blood clot, leading to rapid loss of function of the affected organ. Learn the signs announcing such a problem!
In general, the average person does not realize he is the victim of a stroke, nor knows what steps to take if it finds that something unusual was happening at once.
Signs of a stroke are:
"Cade face" - literally! If one of the halves face muscles "falls", if one side of the face numb, or if the person can not smile, be taken to hospital immediately.
Weakness in arms . A person who suffers a stroke will feel weakness in one or both arms, so will not be able to raise them above your head.
Difficulty speaking . Speech becomes inarticulately - sufferers can not respond properly to questions.
Lack of balance . People with stroke have difficulty coordinating their movements to, in movement and maintain balance.
Strong headache . Headache sudden and strong, for no apparent reason, may be the signal of such disorders.
