Good recommendation! I just finished it. Old black and white films like that are a nice change of pace sometimes.

I was really surprised to see cloud seeding, especially as such a main aspect of the storyline!

One thing that really jumped out at me about their attitudes, was when they were about to lose the paper. Instead of fighting, blaming each other, and separating, they stayed calm, appreciated each other even more, and found a solution to the problem! I think it shows that people were mentally tougher back then, and they also had stronger families.
