Preface of life purpose or meaning of life

in #life8 years ago

Often we hear the cliche question about 'What is the meaning of life?' Or 'What is the purpose of life?' Or 'Why are we born? In most cases, we have our own agenda of what our goals in life are. But from a spiritual point of view, there are two basic reasons why we are born. It is these reasons that define our most basic purpose in life. These objectives are:

To complete the give-and-take account (karmic debt) we have with various people.
To make spiritual progress with the ultimate goal of union with God and thus to come out of the cycle of birth and death.

Making spiritual progress (the purpose of life or the real meaning of life)

The level of spiritual attainment of samashti refers to the spiritual level achieved through spiritual practice for the benefit of society (samashti sādhanā), whereas spiritual practice of vyashti refers to the spiritual level attained through individual spiritual practice (vyashti sādhanā). In the present time, spiritual advancement for the benefit of society is 70% priority, while individual spiritual practice is 30% priority.
The peak of spiritual development on all the Spiritual Paths is to unite with God. 'Fused' with God means experiencing God's Consciousness within us and around us and not identifying with the five senses, mind and intellect. This unification takes place at a 100% spiritual awareness level. Most people in the world today are at a spiritual level of 20-25% and are reluctant to practice a spiritual practice to develop their spirituality. They also identify themselves with the five senses, mind and intellect. This is reflected in our lives where our main focus lies in our appearance or being arrogant about our intelligence or success.

By doing spiritual practice, when we grow to a spiritual consciousness level of 60% (samashti) or 70% (vyashti), we are free from the cycle of life and death. After that level of spiritual awareness, we can pay off whatever is left of our give-and-take account from Mahārlok's non-physical / subtle realms upwards. But sometimes, people above the spiritual achievement level of 60% (samashti) or 70% (vyashti) may choose to be reborn on Earth to guide mankind in Spirituality.

Spiritual growth is only possible through spiritual practice in accordance with the six basic principles of spirituality. Spiritual paths that do not fit into these six basic principles may cause stagnation in the spiritual growth of an individual.
