Ambivert personality
Introduction
A person who is usually introverted may prefer a Friday evening to spend on a favorite reading, while a typical extrovert will return home in the morning after a drowsy party with friends.
Although there are actually people on the extrovert scale - the introvert is undoubtedly one or the other, but most of us are somewhere in between. This third type of personality is called an ambiversion.
The concept of ambiversion
The concept of ambiversion was introduced by Hans Eysenck, an English psychologist and authority in the field of personality research. He decided that Jung's intro and extrovert personality theory was somewhat simplistic and incomplete. The ambiversion combines the characteristics of introvert and extrovert. Such a person may behave in an extrovert manner with people with whom he feels comfortable, but in the company of a dominant person who often criticizes his surroundings, he will turn into an introvert. Ambivert likes the company of other people, but when he begins to feel overwhelmed by stimuli, he rests alone in the comfort of his own home ... from which he wants to escape the other day.
So, how to get known if i am the ambivert person? Ask yourself following questions:
~~Do you enjoy spending time alone and with people?
~~Do some situations make you feel confident and open, and others cause you to shut up?
~~Can not you clearly identify yourself as an introvert or extrovert?
Typical ambivert person will say yes to all these questions :)
