Korean Dip

Before we get into the how to, here are some still shots of SirCarlo's example of Korean dip exercise for your viewing pleasure.

This is what your Korean dip should look like once fully ready to start dipping motion. (Full explanation below)

Starting Position

  • Start by jumping up and grabbing bar with your body fully extended
  • Bend your knees towards your chest, using momentum cradle your knees and body to push legs through and over using arm strength push up- by this point you should see the world upside down🙃 (note both movements in unison)
  • Roll your body around bar so that you are facing forward with arms behind sustaining body and begin to swing while reverse dipping ( note body will naturally curve around without any forced motion- after body weight has shifted around with momentum) -be safe not to force any movements ☝🏽
  • Using ultimate arm and chest strength move from side to side with legs in a running motion -by this time your chest will be stretched and your entire body weight is held by your upper body - difficulty level- high/Beast mode 🐻

Hope this tutorial helps, please don't hesitate to ask questions or comment.

Calisthenics is one of my favorite past times I really hope you guys enjoy and try it on your next workout!

A little history about Calisthenics, Calisthenics comes from the greek words: Kalos and Sthenos; which means beauty and strength. Calisthenics is the art of using body weight to work all body muscles in combination with plyometric method. Calisthenics will build body strength, it challenges your body in explosive ways different from any gym workout that you may experience.
