Paradise Unknown!

South Mississippi. I've been here my entire life. The image of this state is painted in such a negative way. The people here are so unbelievably humble and kind. The hospitality state is our name. But it seems that the popular belief is that Mississippi is a disgusting place to be. A place to find the lowest of lows. This couldn't be farther from the truth. When you first step foot here it feels almost like stepping back in time. Everything slows down a bit. There is so much beauty here. From white sand beaches to national forests and winding rivers. You can really get in touch with nature here. I've visited other places around the country and sometimes think I would like to move away from here. But leaving such a beautiful place to chase dollars is not something appealing to me. Life is short. If you spend it all trying to find paradise it would be a total waste. Find the beauty in the world around you and everyday will feel like paradise!
