California could become a ‘Sanctuary State’ for Cannabis
Lawmakers proposed legislation that would ban the Federal Government from working with Local Law Enforcement Agencies to target Marijuana use in California. The proposal would require a court order for Federal Drug Enforcement Agencies to interfere.

The bill was modelled after California’s Sanctuary State Law for Immigration, which helps shield undocumented immigrants from Federal Immigration Authorities. The legislation in a response to Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ recent Marijuana crackdown, where he overrode State Rights and reasserted the Federal Government prohibition of Weed.
Canada is a "Sanctuary Country" for Cannabis, we will have full recreational marijuana this summer... come here for a visit.
