A new path.

Hello Everyone.

I want to explain why my last post was in regards to a return from hiatus, then I seemingly went on another hiatus & didn't post for 5 months..

I've been undergoing some heavy self reflection in recent months, and a large part of that has been questioning my pursuit of a childhood dream to become a pilot. That dream has begun to clash with adult realizations, resentment of an industry steeped to its neck in government regulation, my doubt in the relevance or usefulness of pursuing what we know as a career. And a desire to not waste my young adult years pursing something that I'm not even confident I want to do for the rest of my life.

No offense intended to anyone here, but none of the immensely successful people I admire in life and aspire to be like are working a 9-5 job. It's for some people, just not me. Yes I could quite easily make 6 figures as a pilot, work until I am 65 and then retire comfortably with a pension, barring any unexpected personal, financial, technological or global political upheavals. But I'm not necessarily looking for comfort and security. I desire the risk and uncertainty of striving to build something that becomes a household name, a trillion dollar organization, and/or leaves a mark on this planet for 100 or 1,000 years or more.

I want to leave my positive mark on the Earth and humanity, and I've come to the realization that I am not going to do that from the cockpit of an aircraft.

My intent for this blog was to share with the Steemit community my journey to becoming a professional pilot but as I have begun to reconsider that path, my blog has stalled. For that I apologize.

I want to thank everyone who continues to follow me to this day, you are amazing. I will be posting for you, updates on my new path.
I'm currently working on leaving my first and current employment to become my own boss by potentially running a business online. Some other things I will be doing on the side include this blog, investment and trading crypto (I should've gotten in when BTC was $1,000 I'm really kicking myself now haha), and potentially a Dtube channel. #YouTubeIsDead

This is just the beginning & I'll have more to tell you soon.

I hope you continue to stay with my for this new and uncharted chapter of my adult life.
