Quotes, Notes, and Women #45 - Frank Zappa
Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible.
-Frank Zappa
To get something different, you need to do something different.
Keep eating the same, you will not lose weight. Keep staying in, you won’t meet new people. Keep staring at your phone, your crush will leave the party.
Deviating from the norm is risky. However, risk often precedes reward.
Life favors people who make plays.
Be the one at the gym every day. Be the one that refuses the pizza. Be the one that loves meeting new people. Be the one that refuses to drink.
The norm is often the easiest path. Everyone takes the easy way out. But the easiest path never leads to great success. Otherwise, everyone would be successful.
Get off the easy path. Have the courage to try a new path. A harder path.
The hard path is paved with struggle.
At the end of struggle, however, is success.
