Spine is Integral

Quality interactions are based on respect. Don’t ever let anyone walk all over you.

Not a stranger. Not a friend. Not a family member. Not a spouse.

Part of being human is having a spine. If you don’t stand up for yourself, no one will.

However, don’t wait to be respected before you respect others. You get what you give. Respect those around you until they give you a reason not to.

Self-Respect is Paramount

Most important of all, respect yourself. It’s funny how often people will go out of their way for other people but not for themselves.

They’ll show up to their cousin’s baby shower on time, but they won’t wake up at 6:00 a.m. to go running like they told themselves they would.

The most respectable people are the ones that respect themselves. They become quality people by simultaneously respecting themselves, time, and other people.

Respect begets respect. Most of all, become someone worthy of respect by respecting yourself.
