A Short Story of an Unrequited Love

I thought that I can look at you now as a friend.
I thought I could just smile because you’re happy. (?)
I thought I’m ok that you’re chatting, and missing somebody else now instead of me.
Damn! It’s not! How could you be like that? How could you just forget about we’ve had.
The day we’ve met,
The night we laid on grasses,
The night that were just laughters,
The first time we’ve cuddle,
That moment we’ve held hands in public and I told you it’s fine girl friends do that too… And you told me you don’t want me as just friend.
Those days of missing each other, catching up online until we said goodnight.
The night we kissed, and then I said “I love you”.
If I only knew you were afraid of those words,
I never should have said that so we’ve never ended even if we haven’t started.
We used to talked everyday and now you leave mid sentence on every conversations.
To you my almost lover
You’ve left me with so much wonderful memories.
And I’m stuck.
I couldn’t stop loving you anymore.
And I’ll do that from a far,
In my world, in my dreams.
I love you forever.
