Scientists have confirmed that watching TV reduces the size of the brain

Data from a study published in Brain Imaging and Behavior found that the more TV you watch, the less gray matter remains in your brain.

Ryan Dougherty, a researcher at the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, pointed out that people who watched an average of 1.5 hours more television than their peers had reduced brain volume in middle and old age. This decrease amounted to approximately 0.5%

This number may seem insignificant, but most scientists argue that it is very important to keep the brain in the state it was in when it was young until old age. This will help slow down the decline of your thinking ability as you age.

I have an appeal to the entire steemit community:

Stop watching TV, read only valuable articles and take care of yourself. Good luck!
