Where Have YOU Been, Mew Mew?
I was reading my lovely friend @soyrosa's post where she was kinda excusing herself for her absence on Steem (are you drunk @soyrosa? You are like the most active person I know! 🤪)
As I was reading it, I was identifying with a few points, and I went to look at my last few posts. I also have been a bit absent, but for different reasons, and it got me thinking about this whole situation.
I am a workaholic, a perfectionist who likes to stick to a plan. And I get panicky when I don't stick to my plan, and then I spend a bunch of time in my head shouting at myself because I didn't make a post, or I get so tied up in work life that I just have no energy for creating and being a smart and witty Mew.
So I really resonated with Rosanne as she explained how she had been watching Netflix shows, learning how to cook Ethiopian food and spending time with family. And what better time, Steem is so low.
It's great to look after yourself. I've been trying to eat super healthy, and cook @morkrock and I really balanced meals, which actually takes a lot of planning and time.
I've been playing DrugWars obsessively. I freaking love this game, man! I spent 70 steem and have made just under half of that back in less than a week. Which is AWESOME. Besides being super fun, once you have made your initial investment back, it's all PROFIT from there.
What I want to know, is what you think about gangs, and which gang you will join?
I've also been taking out time to just enjoy life, like kick back and watch some Netflix, play Sims obsessively, and read book after book - something I love, and missed when I was full Steem ahead, posting almost daily.
Did you know there is a whole community on YouTube about the Sims? OMG I nearly died when I found it.
Speaking of communities, I've also been having fun on Twitter and @appics. I really like APPICS, it's really streamlined and easy to use. I really love it.
I had a Twitter account yonks ago, but I think I opened it in 2007, when Twitter first emerged, and I actually just hated all the people I followed (I know I could have unfollowed), but I also just wanted to start off new, and semi anonymous, like here on Steemit, so I started my new Twitter account mainly to enter NYCoin bounties, but also lately to interact with other Steemians. I'm lovin' it, ba da bap ba baaaa.

Hahaha - I think @bigtom13 hits the nail in his comment, we're not inactive, just not active visibly :D Hehehe.
I triggered on your observation that balanced eating take a lot of time/planning... I know that and it's super rewarding once you find the sweet spot between 'easy meals' and 'healthy', but to get there you spend a lot of time looking for recipes and even finding less common ingredients. It took months before I got into a new diet and felt like I could do it without too much planning :-)

I haven't so much been absent as invisible :)
The thing is miss the most here is my compulsive reading... of books. I read and comment on lots and lots of posts, but I have at least a half dozen books that I need to read including one from a friend to review.
And Drug Lords is on the Steem blockchain so that counts, right?

Regarding drugwars, I also made an initial investment and I think it will be paid around 10 days. I do not remember, but I put something around 70--100 steem there. It's cool, because the return is very fast né ...
I am enjoying the attacks in the game are not yet released, therefore, I will not attack anyone, even if I attacked by the person, I will not give a counter attack ... but if someone is looking at me and attacking me a lot, I will have to enter in a gang .... If this happens, I'll look at the recruitment to see which one I like best ...

I think we've all been a little removed from Steemit for different reasons. In my case, I haven't been able to get much rest because I've started college and the wave of protests and marches against my country's government have increased, and I've had to take to the streets. I have tried to be in everything and not miss anything. At some point I will take some time to watch TV, play games, make food, although I have been reading a lot, as have you. I read that they have had problems with electricity, that too, surely, has kept you a little away. The good thing is that when you're away a little, people start to miss you. And you, my dear and beautiful friend, have been missed by a world. Don't go too far. Hugs

I ALSO was just reading @soyrosa and thinking how I've been absent the past few days. I have NOT tried the steem game but you play SIMS!
I Love sims, well I play Sims 3. I tried 4 but when they took away the ability to just walk out the door and head around the neighbourhoods, I thought, What? and the neighbourhoods are all loading screens with no city or anything.
What is the youtube sim page? Do you have a link? Or is it just a collective of players?
Also, how have you been @princessmewmew ? I'm also feeling a like I've been gone a long time. But, I'm heading back to Toad Hall in a week so looking forward to 'trying' to get a sort of schedule again! :/
Planning/cooking meals, Tweeting, YouTubing, SIMS, reading, Netflixing, DrugWarring... you are busy-as-heck even when you're ...um... "chilling" 😱 LOL!
