😢SUNDAY REFLECTIONS - GOD'S PLAN AND THE PASSING OF A LOVED ONE 😢
Happy Sunday, Steem Fam. I haven't actually posted about this officially, but @morkrock and I are NOT coming to SteemFest 😭
I've let a few of my Steem family know, but we had major passport issues, and were not able to get our visas in time. When we came to the realisation that we were not going to be able to go, I was obviously a bit sad, but I felt very calm, like it was meant to be.
I knew God had something planned for me, but I obviously didn't know what it was.
Fast forward a few weeks, and @morkrock's mom phoned me to let me know his uncle had passed away.
We spent the week in Swellendam, with his whole huge family, and we've just gotten home today. I now know that this is the reason we couldn't go to SteemFest. Our family needed us to be together, and God made sure that we were.

It's always amazing to me how that stuff works out. It shouldn't be, but it still amazes me.
I'm truly glad you got to spend time with family, everybody just props the other up as needed.

Steemfest...... now we can all go together next year if it is meant to be. ❤️

Ohh! It's sad to know that you lost your relative May God give salvation to his soul. Mam it's another bad news for us that you are not going to Steemfest as we will miss some interesting information, but life is not as easy and straightforward as we thinks.

Sorry for your loss. you are right. sometimes we try to force certain things when the universe knows perfectly what we need. We should always allow things to happen as they should, because we dont always know the reasons. May you and your family find comfort at this time. 🙏🏽🕊

<3 Condolances to @morkrock and yourself. Death is painful, but it's a weirdly soothing feeling to suddenly feel all the loved ones coming together as well. Life has an interesting way to help us being where we need to be. Big hugs!
