Initially, the company named Traff-O-Data was Bill Gates, which created reports of traffic counter and traffic engineers. Thus, the organization could help in the traffic. Originally named Traffic-Data-8008, this app could read traffic tape and process data. They started selling these products within the country but they failed, because the machine could not always work properly.

Then success

Paul Allen, associate with Bill Gates, said although Traffic-data did not work well, its experience helped him to build Microsoft in a few years.

In this way, Microsoft became the world's largest personal computer operator in a single day.
