FINALLY BACK AFTER THREE DAYS GONE - WHAT HAPPENED!?!?!

in #life6 years ago

It's amazing what can happen in your absence.

I took a three day adventure over to Jeff's (Bobblehead Homestead) to help Prepsteader Bob and a plethora of other volunteers get some work done on the Tiny Home that Love built only to return to all sorts of things.

My seedlings were drying out while Red Pepper was capturing a giant snake, and then I found a Copperhead almost immediately upon arrival. Soon the winds were blowing and branches were breaking, falling directly onto my fenceline. Thankfully, some more strawberries were ready to be picked, so it was great to be back home!

LOOK AT THAT GIANT BLACK RAT SNAKE!!! I'd make a pet out of the Black Rat Snake. That way they can't keep coming back eating your animals. Just make sure you let it go FAR AWAY.

As for the Copperhead I can't wait till I can find some more. I need to experiment more with them. Here it is I'm dumb enough to think that I can interact with this snake and not get the crap bit out of me HA HA. I really don't think they are as dangerous as we think they are after my ordeal with the one I had last year. Unless you get multiple bites which usually doesn't happen.

Oh and to continue our conversation about the backhoe I tried messaging you on discord. Yes I'm very interested in renting a backhoe as well as any help I can get operating it. About how much would renting one for a day cost? I'd like to get both holes and trenches I need dug in one day if possible. I need to put in our water and septic tanks. What would something like that cost you think???

Sorry, I haven't been on discord in months... a backhow would work, but I wonder if a mini-x would be better. I've got some experience with both, and a mini-x seems to be quicker too. There are probably some good rental places in Fayetteville.... you'd just need a good trailer to pick it up in/on... The last time I used a mini-x it was rented for a month, so it was a buy 3 weeks get one free deal, which dropped the cost of the work I had to do on my lnad to just a couple hundred bucks... You'd have to call and ask around.
