RE: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Hey! So the bot has a max. vote value of $0.47 of post rewards i.e. a 100% upvote would result in a increase of $0.47 in the rewards shown on Steemit. Now let us go to the bidding part. Every voting round, people who want to promote their post send their bids. Depending on their bid, they get a proportional share of the 100% vote. In case the total bids >1.15 x( the maximum vote value), some of the bids are moved to the next round to prevent big losses for the bidders.

I just saw that you had sent a bid of 2SBD. Since your bid was greater than the max value +15%, your bid was moved to the next round and you got a 100% upvote and a resteem.

Since the bot is completely automated, the votes and the earnings are automatically distributed and are beyond my control. @yabapmatt has made a very useful website called https://steembottracker.com/ . Using this website you can see the available bidbots, the vote values, the current bids etc. Use that to avoid similar losses. I will try to return some part of your bid, but since it has been already transferred to the delegators, I am not very sure.

I appreciate your explanation. I will take a look at the links you sent me.
Either way, i do not understand how a bot can accept 2 SBD, about $4.75 and payout 47 cents. What ever the algorithm, that seems like a lot to take from a customer. Who gets the rest??
I am not trying to get rich on Steemit, but it is very discouraging to lose money. If you are associated with this Bot, then there seems like there is something you can do help me out

You mistook what I said. The payout wasn't 47 cents, it was $0.47 in post rewards. The payout was 0.472.380.5SBD + 0.470.53.04=$1.27. The amount of payout possible is limited by the steem power of the bot. So even if you pay more, you can get a max vote of $1.27.
Think of it this was, A bid 1SBD, B bid 2SBD and C bid 3SBD. Then of the 100% of the bid is divided into 100%/6 for A, 2100%/6 for B and 3100%/6 for C. In your case, your BID would have resulted in negative ROI of more than 15%, so it was moved to the next round. It is usually expected that people will bid according to the vote power and not send such high bids.
Please also note that all bid bots are paid promotional services, i.e. They are providing a kind of advertisement for your posts. People aren't expected to make money off it. Still i reiterate i will try to return some part of your bid soon.

ok, thanks for clearing some of it up. I am going to follow you to see if I can learn more about the system. You seem to understand it pretty well. Could you please explain, "It is usually expected that people will bid according to the vote power and not send such high bids." That part is a little confusing.
