Don't wait until tomorrow. Do it today
By now, you should know exactly what it is you have to do in a day.
You know you have to take advantage of the first three hours of your day, time block your time, find external motivations for yourself and a long list of other things as well.
But even though you know what you have to do to, for some reason, you still may not do it.
Instead, you’ll go on social media, reply to emails, read online articles or watch television.
Overcoming these daily distractions in order to achieve your daily goal is going to be a constant inner battle.
In his book "The War of Art," Steven Pressfield calls this inner enemy "The Resistance." To Pressfield, resistance is the story you tell yourself which keeps you from doing the work you know you should be doing.
***Resistance could be self-loathing, procrastination, frequent multitasking, poor habits or justification for pursuing other aims.
Resistance is anything that keeps you from doing what is most important in your life.
But according to Pressfield,
"Resistance is always lying and always full of shit.” This can be a hard truth to act on, but in order to “do the work” and commit to finishing this challenge, Pressfield says, you need to avoid resistance at all costs.
So, whatever struggles you face during this challenge, don't let resistance get the better of you. Remember, there's no secret to daily successes than doing the right thing.. All you have to do is just.
