RE: Why we should pay people who do their internal work
I feel this and often think about these myself. Most people are so disconnected from the 'felt sense', they are only into cheap and fast consumption. They don't dig deeper. I wonder where this will lead, and wether new decentralized sites (like steemit) will bring on good change? Meaning, that people won't just be indoctrinated by old habits, the media, and dumb social media, but I hope that new, quality ideas and thoughts, like yours, will be available for 'consumption' too, which I hope will bring on good change in close minds, and make people think deeper.
It is a good question. I feel the people who want to look into this already have enough resources. Its up to everyone to start the journey. Steemit is a fascinating project, and who knows where it goes, however I dont see it changing the behaviors of consumption, even though it could change the content.
What I mean by that is, that yes its a good opportunity to let quality content be more established by means of decentralized voting power, but the way steemit rewards work actually encourage fast consumption imo.
Interesting! And probably you're right... sadly.
