Family union time

Today my Son will be travelling from India to be with us here in Muscat for 3 weeks. I am so happy; I always miss him when he is not around. Also, he has been having a rough time lately and I was not around him, so with he being here I can take care of him and be with him. In difficult times when your loved ones are around, it makes a lot of difference. In these 3 weeks that he will be here, 10 days we have planned a holiday to Turkey, which is another thing I am excited about. We will be doing a proper family holiday 3 of us after almost 3 of us. Me and hubby have been travelling on our own and my son too, but we could not plan it together, and finally it's happening.

For the next few days, I am going to prepare all his favorite foods. He is a big-time foodie and loves sea-food, I have stocked up everything that he enjoys eating and will be preparing one specialty for him daily. Life becomes sweeter with all these tit-bits. When children are small, they are all the time with us but when they grow up, they start living their own life and there is an empty space that gets created. Even though we are all occupied in our lives but still those moments are different when children are small. You are tending to their every need and you feel so much connected.

Both of us have loads to talk about our last 2 months actions, he always keeps a check on me as to how I am spending my time, what I am doing in my life and so do I. Even though we do not stay together we are well aware of what's happening with each other. The 3 weeks will fly away and every time that he is with me I try to make the most of it, and so will I do the same this time as well.
