It is true that setting a goal and accomplishing it is the only a way to achieve success in our life. You might have heard many times from your parents, teachers, your boss and finishing to set a goal in a life if you want to achieve success.Many people ask us when we are young ,what do you want to be in your life?. For most of us this is when our goal setting process starts.However just setting goals is not enough many factors like optimism, determinations, planning action taking confidence ,the attitude and persistence plays a major role in process of achieving goal.

1. Write your goal.

Sometime it sounds childish to write down your goals but it is true that writing down your goals will make you more accountable then not writing it; while writing do not prejudge your goals. Write everything that you would like to achieve in your life but it should be relevant to you or should make sense. Be specific and write down it will give you much clarity and easy to see that target. Without being specific you cannot formulate a strategy to achieve those goals.

2. To visualise your goals

Albert Einstein once said, ‘Imagination is more important than knowledge’. When you write down your goal you have some knowledge of what you want in your life.To make it more impactful , imagining or visualising will help me to embrace your entire goal. It will give you more power and wisdom to achieve it. Make some time from your daily schedule to visualise the ways of achieving your goals.
You need to have a strong and clear strategy to achieve your goals.

3. Find the right picture

A picture can help you visualise more strongly. Find some pictures related to your goals and dreams. For example, if your goal is to buy a new bike or car this year then find a picture of what kind of car you want to buy. Pursue that picture on regular basis. It works as a reminder and helps you to visualise more vividly and create a strong impression on your mind.

4. Design action Plan

You have to make a strategy to achieve those goals. Sometimes people will go for a tactical approach to achieve what they want and take shortcuts. That is not appropriate way and you have to understand that there is no shortcut for lasting success. You need to have a strong and clear strategy to achieve your goals, for example: let us suppose you want to buy a new car at the end of this year or as per your time frame. How are you going to manage the sum of required money to buy that car? You must have a plan for saving or earning the amount but how will you earn the extra money? You have to yourself. Do you have some good skills, you can use to earn that extra buck. For example, offering tuition to neighbourhood children, teaching part time or starting a business. Design a great plan and work on it. Take massive actions to achieve massive goals.

Managing your goals in this manner will bring you to up to date with the kind of skills you have, your financial status and will allow you to reflect on the time you will need along the way to achieve your set of goals. You can develop short-term, mid-term and long term goals to help you build skills.You have to take appropriate action in order to achieve those goals and have to have to be flexible on your actions. Do whatever works for you. When you achieve your goals, do not forget to write the date of your accomplishments next to it. You can later look back on earlier achievements. Believe that you have the ability to transform your failure into success.
