How to help your local community

Only the life lived for others is the life worthwhile

Supporting your local community can bring a whole host of benefits. Lending a helping hand can help you to make new friends, learn new skills, advance your career and, most importantly, gives a lot back to your community.
There are a lots of ways that you can help your local community:

   Support your local businesses by buying locally. Instead of buying from supermarkets, support local farmers and purchase local produce instead.

   If you’ve got small change, you could give this to charity collectors on the street or the homeless.

9. Donate
   Donate old items of clothing, furniture, utensils etc to local homeless shelters, food to animal shelters or to local charity shops. It all helps.
