Breathe, Believe and Never Give Up

You stand.
Watching your world
in front of you.

Crack.

Fall apart, eventually.

But you hold it.

With the little power left
in your hands,
and the little will left
within yourself.

You hold on.

Hold on to pieces that
cut your skin,
that reveal the hidden stories
lying beneath your pretentious self.

There is something.
Within you.
Still ticking.
You are capable.
Of so much more.

Of loving your own self
enough to love others.
Of finding your yellow sun
and using it as your power.

And when you see and know,
that you can withstand this storm,
that's when you should know.

That you are strong.

That your shoulders are strong
enough to hold the
burden of your world.
That your kryptonite is
not anyone, but you yourself.
All you have to do is,
breathe, believe and never give up.
