Anniversary No. 11 of the Oncology Unit ¨La Flor de La Esperanza¨.

Hello dear friends of Steemit, today I want to tell you that tomorrow, February 27, we are celebrating our birthday at the Oncology Service where I have been working for eleven years, the same year it opened its doors.

Oncologica Unit ¨La Flor de la Esperanza¨ started its activities on February 27, 2007, with a clear purpose and mission, to be the oncological service of reference in the western part of my country Venezuela.

Our main objective is to provide ambulatory care to patients in different disciplines to fight cancer. Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, Brachytherapy.

We are also support for the patients of the Service of hematooncologia in the delivery and preparation of the medicines as well as in the dispensing of antineoplastic drugs that have utility in other pathologies such as arthritis, lupus, etc.

We have a group of multidisciplinary professionals of the best quality, recognized inside and outside the country in the areas of:

• Oncological Medicine, Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy.
• Medical Oncologist Pediatrician.
• Surgeons Oncologists.
• Hospitable pharmacists.
• Graduates in Nursing.
• Medical physicists.
• Radiologists technicians specialists in Radiotherapy.
• Psychologist Oncologist.
• Graduates in Nutrition.
  
  All committed to give a better quality of life to the patient and in some cases completely eradicate the disease.
  In eleven years there are many people who have passed through our Service, patients, relatives, students of Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, people who have been trained and gone, but we are the roots of this consolidated project giving the best of us every day.
  Always putting everything so that our patients both children and adults feel at home, reducing their fears, giving strength to them and their families.

In these moments with a bit of anguish, due to the economic situation that my country is going through, with an immense uncertainty that will happen with the provision of medicines by the national government, and with the maintenance of the equipment.

We have the faith and hope to continue providing our services for many years to come, for the well-being of our patients.
