I do intermittent fasting with up to 18 hours of fasting per day every day. That way I don't loose muscle tissue^^

Yes exactly! You get all the benefits of fasting during that 16-18 hour period. Eating during the 6-8 our period is different too. Most of the time I only manage to eat once or twice during that period. Here is video explains it a bit:
