I don't remember the last time we had frost. Plenty of heat, but no frost.
Maybe leave your windows open next time; so there's not such a stark temperature difference between the sides of the windscreen. ;)
By doing that you run the risk of getting your car soaked. The rain here gets everywhere! I just think it was an unnoticed chip that's decided it just wanted to be noticed.
