Don’t let haters destroy your dreams.

So Today I overheard a conversation of somebody telling his friend that he wanted to learn how to play piano, the boy said to his friends that it was his all-time dream to play all sonata of Beethoven, when his friend heard that started to laugh and said to him that he was too old to learn, he keep saying that the person must be a certain age to learn…at that moment I was able to see when the sparkle in his eyes died out and say “maybe you’re right”

I was really sad so I walk to him and said to the boy…your friend is a negative person that if he has a dream he should go after it. Negative people are not to blame because they are influenced by situations that have occurred or decisions made that have led them to a state of “not believing” in dreams and they simply didn’t understand or know the power they have in themselves and they don’t know the influence they can have on other people's dreams and lives.
There are millions of stories with people who reached their dreams despite the many voices that told them otherwise, I firmly believe that the inner voice of those people was so strong that it didn’t allow them to hear the words of haters and I told him the history about someone like him was told that he couldn’t achieve anything… I told him the history about a young man who was told by his science teacher that he would never amount to much given his “vague ideas.” the young man didn’t listen his science teacher, becoming a remarkable mathematical who programed the world's first commercially available electronic digital computer.
He also introduced the concept of Artificial Intelligence, believing that computers would be able to learn and think for themselves.
He was awarded the OBE in 1945 for services to the country in wartime
In 1935 invented a device that to this day, all stored-programed digital computers are modelled on this invention.

That young man who was told he wouldn’t achieve much broke the Enigma code used by the German forces using an electro-mechanical machine. He and his team was able to decode up to 39,000 Enigma messages a month rising his number up to 84,000 or about two messages decoded every minute. It´s believe that his work shortened the Second World War by at least two years. This remarkable man was Alan Turing.

Not listening to negative people is sometimes difficult, I think it depends on the degree of knowing and believing in ourselves, so we must value and educate ourselves on the power of thought, so that our dreams are not made of a superficial thought but instead a thought with power and will, like a tree with deep roots that is difficult to tear down.
I believe that we would be one´s to blame if we let the words of those people bring us down and change our original course because in the end of the road, the only person who can steal a dream from you is yourself.

What an excellent story to reflect, just as you say it is not necessary to let people demolish our dreams, we must always fight until we achieve them.
