Sweden World Champions

Sweden's hockey players have elongated the winning series at the world championships for 17 matches. At this year's World Cup in Denmark, they won all ten matches. After a dramatic fight with Switzerland and a 3: 2 win over the raids, they defended last year's title and gold celebrated the eleventh in history.

More valuable metal was collected only by Canada, which finished this year without a medal.
