NCIS investigates the 'Channel Changer'...

in #life7 years ago

Before remote controls came about who was the channel changer in your family? I always seemed to have been the channel changer in my family. I did not volunteer for this but the family hierarchy bestowed this ‘honor’ on me. If there had been a crime scene in our house in the 50’s and 60’s and NCIS was investigating, this would have been the dialog from that episode;
Agent DiNozzo: Hey Boss we finished fingerprinting the Renault house but we found something strange…
Gibbs: What do you mean by strange DiNozzo?
Agent DiNozzo: Everyone’s fingerprints are in all the normal places, but it’s strange because the only fingerprints on the channel dial were from that kid Louie, the little smartass who keeps calling me Agent ‘Big’ Nozzo…
Gibbs: That’s because he’s the youngest you idiot! (Gibbs says this as he smacks DiNozzo on the back of his head…)
And let us not forget the secondary services provided by the Channel Changer…
“Hey Louie put on channel 9 the Cubs game is on.”
(Insert sound effect) click’6’-click’7’-click’8’-click’9’ then came…
“Hey Louie, as long as you’re up get me a can of pop. Thanks buddy…”
