Curried Chicken
Ingredients: 1 whole Chicken cut into the normal pieces, 1 Large Onion Finely Chopped, ½ green pepper finely chopped optional, 3 Tomatoes grated, 3 garlic cloves crushed, a piece on Ginger crushed as well, 3 teaspoons of ground black pepper, 1 teaspoon salt, curry powered (Rajah curry power Mixed so that’s) (2 teaspoons Medium, 2 teaspoons, Mild and spicy, 2 teaspoons all in one and 2 teaspoons Hot), 1 teaspoon Garam Masala, 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon turmeric,1 hot chilli finely chopped and 1 cup plan yogurt optional.
Method: Begin first by heating up 5 tablespoons of oil in a large pot when the oil heats add in your Chopped onion let them cook till abit tender then add in your garlic, chilli, green pepper and ginger let them cook for about 45 secs will stirring then next add in all your spices including the black pepper and salt and let them cook for about ½ minutes next add in your cut chicken and let the chicken cook with the spices for about 3-5 minutes while constantly stirring, next add in 4 cups of water and let the chicken stemmer for about 5 minutes then lastly add in the grated tomatoes and yogurt(remember yogurt is optional ) stir and let stemmer tell chicken is cooked for about 45mins. Most of us get curried chicken wrong because we do not follow the right steps so just go step by step and you will be fine.
