Zigging when everyone else is zagging.

Trouble is, when everyone else is shouting, that means keeping quiet and then, how do you get heard? Cos we all need to be heard.

Nobody's ever going to be King Buttercup (although I don't mind if you want to call me that, when we're alone together) but every buttercup in this little field is still reaching up for the sun, being the best little buttercup it can be, following its own destiny and no tears are shed when some gallumphing lloyd-giant comes and treads on a bunch of them, or kneels down on a few to get a little picture for his online followers and make some point or other about individuality.

I think the period of extreme individuality is starting to close. These last few years that have been dominated by the symbolism of King Baby Trump, completely self-centred give way to a gentler time for building back up again - it's like when toddlers get themselves out of the terrible twos (even they get bored of throwing themselves on the floor in a tantrum) and start making friends at least with their immediate family. Everything is blissful for a while till they go to (pre)school and learn that Mummy and Daddy's way might not be the best!

So that's the next mini-step of evolution I think we'll see this year. King Babies (whether they're in your house or the White House) getting slowly civilised and less dominant, that's my hope.

Well stated. I do believe a swing back is going to happen.

Cycles. Our time is here at last. Yay!
