Ramadan fasting does not make the inventor of the tree of kedondong, Naufal Raziq, lazing. It is precisely this Acehnese boy is increasingly developing his findings every day.

"Yes, every day I check, sometimes sometime, sometime in the afternoon, to see how many currents are in the tree kedondongnya Kan Kan (kedondong) can change - change," said Naufal.

Naufal, who recently graduated from Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Negeri 1 Langsa, recalled that each of the kedondong trees has different acid content. Therefore, he checks trees every day using multitester tools.

If the weather conditions are scorching hot, he will water the kedondong trees. To produce good electricity, Naufal explained that the kedondong tree had at least 30 centimeters in diameter. If more than 30 cm, he said, even better.

The four trees could turn on a lightbulb. If you want to light a house, there should be at least 10 trees. Its durability can be up to 12 hours.

"For the moment, we try to use it for the night when it is charging, the system is almost the same as the solar cell, if it is from the sun then to the battery and the lights. , the night is turned on for up to 12 hours, only now can one light bulb in the 4 trees, hopefully in the future can be more with the development that I am doing, "said Naufal.

Naufal's experiment was very dynamic. It does not need much capital, the trees are easy to find and other materials are not difficult, such as electrodes (copper and metal) and cables.

"The copper and metal are inserted into the tree vertically, the function is to convert the acid into electricity, then the electrode of the current is transmitted through the cables connected to the light bulb and live on, and if it is long lasting, the power can be stored in the battery through the charging process. Most importantly the elektrodanya enter well inside the tree trunk, "said Naufal.

Naufal said, before starting experiments with the tree kedondong, he also had time to try with some other trees, such as mango, starfruit, tamarind, and potatoes.

"In 2014, I started with potatoes, and I was able to compete in Langsa right now, hopefully 1. I do not give up, I try some more trees, like mango, starfruit, and tamarind. The trees have their advantages and disadvantages.In 2015, I try with the tree kedondong fence and the result as now, "said Naufal.

With that intelligence, Naufal has a myriad of awards from local to national level. He also had the opportunity to meet Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan in Jakarta and received appreciation.

In the residence of Naufal, Tampoh Paloh Village, East Aceh, Aceh, there are 144 families who have not received electricity. Naufal was determined to develop his findings in order to illuminate the entire house in the village.
