Corn has been spread
Assalamu Alaikum,
Corn has been spread out today on the rooftop for drying because it’s extremely hot outside. The corn was drying very quickly due to the intense heat — the temperature of the sun was beyond words. People could not even stand outside in the sunlight because it was so intense. After placing the corn outside, people had to check it repeatedly and stir it with their feet so that it would dry faster. The sun doesn’t always stay — sometimes it rains, sometimes there is water — so the corn had to be dried in this sun.
Because of that, people were working hard to dry the corn, which was going quite well. I went there to see the corn drying and saw that the corn had dried nicely. It still needs more sun so that it can be packed into sacks all at once.
