Sunset in Medellin

There is something so mesmerizing about the rising and setting of the sun. There is a fresh newness with the rising, and a satisfaction & completion with the setting. The wonderful thing about it is that they can be appreciated from anywhere in the world.

Although, one thing’s unique about the city of Medellin, you are completely surrounded by the Andes mountains, so everywhere you look the view is incredible! Because of this you can enjoy the rise or the set of the sun with the same sense of awe of it peeks above or dips below the mountain tops.

I love that we were able to capture this moment. Here are a few photographs of the main event...

It’s funny that this rise and setting happens every day, and it’s not something you think much about until you take a moment out your day to observe it. It’s nice when you can take it all in, bring yourself into the present moment, and slow down time for a while…
