Redefine Myself Through Loop Cycle Design

Creating the loop of satisfaction is one of the great mechanism to make things happen. Just like on Steemit, we write and share contents that are originated or curated from us. Then, we would get readers respond like commenting, upvoting and resteeming. All of these will generate a sort of feedback to the executor and give a sort of satisfaction. We may feel happy, motivated, discouraged and so on while getting the feedback. Thus, it is important for us to set a positive cycle for us to make our daily routine a productive one.

However, when we trapped ourselves in some bad cycles which not only wasting our time and not building any asset for the future, some may even ruin our own life like addicting to drugs, pornography, games and so on, forgetting about the reality we are in. It is important that we are aware and conscious on our doings, which is to rationally decide what is good and bad for us. So, if we were to addicted to work, then it makes us a workaholic, which ultimately not that bad as it contributes to the society and to our own self. On the other hand, if we were to addicted to crime, then it makes us the malignant of the society.

For me, I am also working on setting myself to get more positive loops in my daily life. One of them of course is to continuous write about my personal thoughts here and also my life events. It is satisfying to record and review back my transition from time to time, making sure I’m moving to the right direction. Personally, I do have some despicable bad loop which need to be fix as soon as possible. Therefore, writing things down is the simplest way for me to track the progress.

Again, forming a loop requires several steps. The first one is of course the trigger, whereby there will be an event that will kick start the next step. Then, the next step is of course the action which we do what is required. After that, is the consequence where we get what our course of action lead us to. In terms of consequence, it is best that we should expect something, have some certainty on what can be achieved through the action. And finally is the trigger again which is the emotional part of us feeling satisfied after doing so. Simplest loop is like waking up, brush and wash ourselves, feeling clean and look tidy, feeling refreshed. So the trigger feeling refreshed will get us to the next action which may probably be some work out or making breakfast and so forth. So the loop will keep going until the day ends. Well of course, there will be separate loops in a day where we need some rest and gap to breath. Nonetheless, it is a good concept to design our life and make it into a positive one. Most importantly is that we have to be conscious on the planning and be disciplined to follow it.

Well, that’s for today. Really hoping to move forward and transform myself. Third quarter is an important quarter for me to redefine myself.
